Our Salmon En Croute is a wondrous thing! Our Salmon En Croute has been prepared by our Dorset chefs to provide you with a timeless British classic ready to enjoy at home. Using sustainably farmed salmon fillets filled with spinach and a dash of lemon zest and nutmeg, our Salmon En Croute is finished with a light, latticed pastry casing. This stunning dish has all the hard work already done for you and is ready to serve at home. Cooking instructions. Take out of the fridge, remove all the packaging and and leave out for 20 minutes to allow the Salmon En Croute to come to room temperature. Pre-heat your oven to 185 degrees centigrade (fan assisted) and place the Salmon En Croute on a baking tray on top of the parchment paper (on which it sits. You can use greaseproof paper.) and heat until the pastry is crisp and golden in line with the following cooking guide: 210g : 24 to 28 minutes. 700g : 30 to 35 minutes You can use a temperature probe to determine the core temperature which should be 65 to 70 degrees centigrade after cooking. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. 210g serves 1 person: 700g serves 2 to 3 people. Our Salmon En Croute will have previously been frozen and will arrive thawed or partially thawed. Ensure the product is thoroughly defrosted before cooking. Place in a fridge and use within 2 to 3 days of delivery. Prepared on surfaces that may have traces of milk, egg, wheat, soya, mustard, nuts, crustaceans, fish, shellfish and sesame. Do not refreeze.
