Sublime butters are churned at Brue Valley Farm nestled in the heart of Somerset, a stone’s throw from Glastonbury Tor where the Clapp family have farmed the land since 1538. Brue Valley use methods passed down from generations to create a range of wonderful butters. Whilst many dairies have turned to more modern methods, Brue Valley churn and hand salt to create an open textured product with a real depth of flavour. Sublime Butter is inspired by and named after the Sublime Society of the Beefsteak, an 18th-century London club where lunch was accompanied by songs, speeches and lashings of port to add savour to meals. As does Sublime’s flavoured butter. Sublime’s truffle, parmesan and black pepper butter complements our grass fed steaks perfectly. Place a slice on top of the cooked steak or add to the pan or skillet as you cook. Works well in pasta, with roasted vegetables, or to add flavour to mashed potatoes.
