Fresh Rainbow Trout (2 x Whole Fish 290g-340g each)

All our fresh, whole rainbow trout high in Omega 3 are from Trafalgar Fisheries in Downton, Hampshire who have been producing sustainable, high welfare, RSPCA assured trout for over 40 years. From small beginnings and one riverkeeper, it was soon apparent that the Avon Valley environment between Salisbury and Downton lent itself to fish farming and one pond led to another. Today, Trafalgar are one of the the largest inland fish farms in England. Rainbow trout have a distinctive pinkish, red stripe that runs along their sides which simmers and gleams in water and resembles a rainbow, hence the name. We like to bake ours in foil with lemon, a fair dollop of butter, parsley or dill, and a couple of crushed garlic gloves. Each pack contains 2 whole fish, cleaned, gutted and pan ready.
